Ludvik Volák was a Czech designer best known for his plywood room dividers from the late 1960s, produced by Drevopodnik Holesov. The dividers feature organic cut-out shapes in modular panels, serving both as functional partitions and decorative, light-filtering elements. They were widely used in Czechoslovak offices, shops, and homes, becoming an icon of mid-century modern design in the region. Today, they are highly collectible for their sculptural, space-age aesthetic.
