Peter Celsing designed the wall sconces for Stockholm’s Kulturhuset in 1966, produced by Falkenbergs Belysning. The fixtures feature a concave aluminium or brass shade with a golden reflective interior that casts a warm, even light. Slightly lifted from the wall by a black ring, they appear to “float,” reflecting Celsing’s architectural precision and material honesty. These sculptural, minimalist lights are now considered icons of Swedish mid-century design.
