Pair of Fauteuil Marly armchairs designed by Olivier Gagnère in 1994 for Café Marly at the Louvre, Paris, and produced by Artelano / SOCA. The chairs feature a refined, architectural silhouette with dark stained wooden legs, brass ferrules and deep navy-blue upholstery with contrasting cream piping. The design combines a distinctly French classical sensibility with the restrained elegance of 1990s French design. The Marly collection was created specifically for Café Marly at the Louvre, one of Paris's most iconic restaurant interiors, and has since become one of Gagnère's best-known furniture designs.
