Iconic Lio Comun chair designed by Philippe Starck for XO, dating from the early 1990s. A distinctive example of Starck’s playful yet highly functional approach to furniture design, combining a tubular black metal frame with curved, beautifully grained wooden seat and backrest. The sculptural frame gives the chair a strong graphic presence, while the shaped wooden elements make it surprisingly comfortable. An excellent example of early 1990s French design and a less commonly encountered Starck model.
