Product Description:-
Rare large Maison Jansen palm table lamp from the 1960s/70s, featuring two light points, hand-cut brass palms, and an overlapping brass stem. Of striking proportions and superb quality, it’s a standout piece of mid-20th-century design. Founded in Paris in 1880 by Jean-Henri Jansen, Maison Jansen was the first global interior design firm, blending European tradition with Art Nouveau, Art Deco, and modern influences. Its prestigious clients included European royalty, Elsie de Wolfe, and Lady Baillie. Under Stéphane Boudin, Jansen famously designed interiors for the White House during John F. Kennedy’s presidency, as well as the yacht Northwind II, one of the firm’s few surviving complete commissions.
